The 9th pick in the 2016 Draft has shown the ability to score in bunches, averaging 10.5 points per game mostly off the bench for the Fever. She has improved her scoring from 10.7 to 16.5 and assists from 1.9 to 3 per game, improving on her FG% and 3P% as well.
Loyd has formed a dynamic duo of back-to-back No.1 picks in Seattle. The third year player has taken a step forward this year, increasing her FG% from 37.9 to 60.3 and scoring from 4.2 to 7.3 in just 3 more minutes per game. The 2015 All-Star has not been able to match those same numbers in her third year but she has been essential for a Mystics team which will be fighting for a Playoff spot after the Olympics are done. The 7th overall pick in the 2016 Draft has been a key contributer for the Mystics, averaging 6.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, while showing the ability to stretch the floor in limited attempts (8-17 from three-point range). She has also won two golds competing in U18 and U19 tournaments for USAB. The former All-Star saw her role change as she got traded to the Phoenix Mercury, a team with championship aspirations this season.
